RAPA NUI (EASTER ISLAND)

"I’m almost 57 years old... and I have so many fears you wouldn’t believe! So, why am I writing @ Easter Island? Because I had the best time on this trip! I went with Condor Adventures (If you’ve never gone with Buz, you really must go – if you have, you know what it’s like), which included the most fun, party animal group you could ever want to travel with. We did horseback riding,... hiking, caving, swimming (all of which I do poorly), learned outrigger canoeing, ate & ate & ate (healthy food) & lots of drinking (in my case, water – in other cases, pisco). Really have had so much fun! Oh yes, we learned all @ the history of Easter Island (Rapa Nui) & saw the whole island. "Thanks to Buz (Condor Adventures), we were there for Tapati (the annual island festival), which in itself is wonderful – but, with Buz’s connections, it is so much more! Parties at islanders’ homes, meeting performers, learning to do dances, etc. "Trust me – you really learn to overcome whatever is holding you back & let loose! All in the safety of an island of fun & with a bunch of the best people you would ever want to meet. We had so many adventures & laughs – it was too short a trip! " It was so good that while still in Rapa Nui, my husband & I signed to go dogsleding next year in Finland. Talk @ getting out of your comfort zone – Anyway, don’t even think @ it – go to Rapa Nui with Condor – You won’t regret it!" Lya Eisenberg
